Cedarcrest Center will host it’s annual Tree Lighting Celebration and Sing-a-long on Wednesday, December 5th. This year’s event will be held at a new time–5:00 PM at 91 Maple Avenue.

Traditions are very important at Cedarcrest and this event involves a majority of the children with staff and volunteers heading outside to our front lawn to cheer as one of their young friends “flips the switch” to make the tall evergreen twinkle with a 1,000 lights.

For the second year, we will be led in song by the Pathway Singers, a local volunteer choral group whose mission is to serenade those in healthcare or hospice settings in the Monadnock region.

Sponsor a bulb in tribute of a friend, colleague or loved one~If you wish to sponsor a bulb in honor or memory of a friend or loved one, please print and fill out this form and mail to Cedarcrest Center 91 Maple Avenue Keene, NH 03431. Gold stars will represent those with gifts in memory of them and silver will represent those we are honoring. There is a $5.00 donation per bulb/star. The stars will be hung on a recognition wall throughout the holiday season.

Volunteers and participants are needed for this special holiday activity. Refreshments will be provided after the tree lighting and sing-a-long. We welcome all generations of helpers!
