On a crisp October morning under brilliant blue skies, Cedarcrest’s campus was filled with the spirit of community at our 13th Annual Walk & Roll fundraiser. More than 200 walkers and rollers joined together for a 2.1-mile journey filled with smiles, laughter, and connection — all in support of the incredible children at Cedarcrest.
This year’s event surpassed expectations, raising over $56,000 to help us continue our mission of providing compassionate care and enriching experiences for every child we serve.
Before setting off, Cedarcrest President & CEO Jay Hayston shared heartfelt thanks to our families, staff, volunteers, and supporters who make this tradition possible year after year. Then, with full hearts and uncontainable excitement, the children of Cedarcrest proudly led the way through nearby neighborhoods, their joy echoing in every cheer along the route.
After the walk, participants were invited to explore Passport to Celebrations — a series of sensory stations inspired by festivals from around the world, from China and Portugal to Brazil and Thailand. With passports in hand, children discovered the color, sound, and wonder of each culture’s traditions.
We are deeply grateful to our amazing volunteers, creative staff, generous sponsors, and everyone who walked, rolled, donated, or cheered from afar. Your support makes Walk & Roll a day of true celebration — and makes a lasting difference in the lives of Cedarcrest’s children.
