Each fall, the Cedarcrest community comes together for one of our favorite traditions, Walk & Roll. On Saturday, October 3, we invite you to join us for a 2.1-mile, noncompetitive walk and roll that brings our community together in support of the children and young adults at Cedarcrest.
This year, we’re Cruising Through the Decades! After crossing the finish line, participants will journey through six decades, from the roaring ’20s to the unforgettable ’90s, with interactive sensory experiences inspired by each era. Whether you walk, roll, fundraise, or cheer from the sidelines, there is a place for everyone to be part of the day.
At the heart of Walk & Roll are the children and young adults who call Cedarcrest home and attend Cedarcrest School.
Cedarcrest serves children and young adults from infancy through age 23 with complex medical and developmental needs from Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Our team provides around-the-clock specialized medical care alongside individualized education and therapies. Just as importantly, we create opportunities for each child to experience childhood in ways that are meaningful and accessible to them.
Walk & Roll helps make more of those opportunities possible.
Traditional funding sources help cover essential care, but it does not cover everything that makes life at Cedarcrest so special. Philanthropic support helps us go beyond the basics, providing adaptive equipment that creates new possibilities for movement and communication. It makes community outings and enrichment experiences possible and gives our team the flexibility to respond to the individual interests and needs of the children we serve.
