Every year, Cedarcrest staff and volunteers work together to host a Prom and transform the atrium into a jungle, farm, or winter wonderland to give the children here a special evening just like their peers. Coming up on June 2nd, Cedarcrest will be having its annual Prom, and it is only fitting that the theme for such an event is going to be the world of Harry Potter!
The atrium will become the Great Hall at Hogwarts, complete with “floating” candles and other whimsical decorations. There will be lots of preparation before the big day! We need help to obtain or create materials needed to give our children the best night we can!
If you have props, costumes, materials, or time to donate to help turn our building into a castle, please email ktargett@cedarcrestcenter.org to coordinate volunteering or arrange donations. Help is welcome both in the coming weeks to make decorations, and on the day of the prom, when we set up all of the decorations. Thank you so much for any help you can give!
