Subaru of America, Inc. (“SOA”) and Subaru of Keene presented a check for $20,000 to Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities. Cedarcrest Center was the local beneficiary in the 2021 Subaru Share the Love Event.

From November 18, 2021 to January 3, 2022, with every new Subaru purchased or leased, Subaru donated $250 to each customer’s choice of charity. For the sixth year in a row, there was no cap on the total donation from Subaru of America to its Share the Love Event charitable partners. At the culmination of this year, SOA and its retailers hope to exceed a grand total of $225 million donated since the creation of the Subaru Share the Love Event to celebrate the 14th anniversary of the event.

For 2021, SOA selected the four national charities: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America and the National Park Foundation. Subaru retailers could also elect to add at least one local charity and Cedarcrest Center was selected as its hometown charity.

The check for $20,000 was presented to Cedarcrest Center by Bill Fenton, President, Subaru of Keene and Fenton Family Dealerships. “This donation will have a substantial impact on our organization and the lives of the children in our care.” Announced Jay Hayston, President and CEO of Cedarcrest Center. “Each year, our organization works to cover costs of children’s needs that exceed the amount allocated by Medicaid and school district tuitions.
